Staff at Footprint Ecology have experience of running training courses extending back some fifteen years. Courses can be designed for a particular audience and offered widely to the scientific or ecological community, or tailored to the needs of a particular client. Staff from The Forestry Commission, Local Authorities, Ecological Consultants, Wildlife Trusts, RSPB, National Park Authorities, Land Agents, Companies and other organisations have attended our courses over the years. We have also run tailor made courses for, among others, the Rural Development Service, Butterfly Conservation, Ecological Consultants, private companies and a National Park Authority.

Our courses have included habitat management and conservation covering heathlands, coastlands, uplands, grasslands and moorlands lasting several days to one day courses on GIS, species management and identification.
We never hesitate to bring in expertise to cover specialist areas to ensure that we offer the most up-to-date and comprehensive information available. In a highly successful recent three day course on the Ecology, Management and Conservation of lowland heathland, we brought in experts on invertebrate ecology, grazing, restoration techniques and reptiles to complement our own inputs on plant and bird communities, habitat and visitor management and disturbance issues.

If you are interested either in coming to one of our courses, or in discussing your detailed requirements with people who are committed to providing the best possible in ecological training, why not get in touch?
